In the 40th match of the 13th season of IPL, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) won on Thursday night. In Dubai, he defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 8 wickets. Manish Pandey came out on the field with a clear mindset to dominate. After Archer withdrew from the attack, he hit two sixes on Stokes and Karthik Tyagi to bring the score to 58 in the powerplay. While the spinners were under pressure, he hit a six over Shreyas Gopal and completed a half-century off 28 balls.

Steve Smith called Archer for the second spell when the batsmen had set foot at the crease. Archer completed his quota before the death overs. In his last over, Shankar hit three consecutive fours. Tyagi did not control his balls and Pandey constantly punished him for this mistake. He also sent Stokes' ball for six runs while Shankar completed his half-century with a winning four over Tyagi.

Rajasthan Royals had scored 154/6

After winning the toss, Sunrisers Hyderabad brought Rajasthan Royals to bat.
