New season of Hero ISL is going to kick-off from 7th October 2022. All the 11 teams will be eagerly waiting to start the new campaign as the fans will return to the stadiums after the gap of two years. Hero ISL 2022-23 season will start with the match between Kerala Blasters FC and East Bengal. Opening fixture host Kerala Blasters FC will welcome East Bengal at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi.

All Hero ISL teams are currently participating in Durand Cup 2022. ATK Mohun Bagan FC is the only ISL team that has matches beyond Durand Cup 2022. ATK Mohun Bagan FC will play in AFC Cup Inter-Zonal Semifinal on September 7, 2022.

Just like global football leagues, Hero ISL 2022-23 matchweeks are scheduled between Thursday and Sunday. Weekend matches will attract more fans and their families to the ground.
