8 Teams, 4 Quarter Finals, 4 Semi Finalists.

We are now into the business end of this FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar. We now know that 1 team out of these 8 is going to lift the coveted trophy for their country this time around. On one side, we have defending champions France who have won this trophy 2 times, Brazil, who are 5 times Champions, Argentina who have won it 2 times, England who have won it 1 time in the past. On the other hand we have 4 teams who want to end the World Cup drought for their country and won the coveted trophy for the first time.

Each team have some legends who will give their everything to make it possible for the team to lift the trophy. Argentina has Lionel Messi, Netherlands has Memphis Depay, Brazil has Neymar Jr, Croatia has Luka Modric, England has Harry Kane, France has Kylian Mbappe, Morocco has Hakim Ziyech and Portugal has Christiano Ronaldo.

For some legends this World Cup can/will be the last World Cup. Ronaldo, Messi, Modric knows that this can be their last World Cup and they don't want to left anything to win it this time. Still only 4 legends will go to Semi Finals and 4 legends will go home.

In Pre-Quarter Finals we had only 1 wrong prediction in which Spain lost to Morocco. Rest all 7 results went as expected. We predicted that Croatia and Japan game will end up in draw and Croatia will win the match in penalties which was confidence booster for us :). Lets see what predictions we have in store for Quarter Finals.

Quarter Final 1 : Croatia vs Brazil

Winner : Brazil

Luka Modric vs Neymar Jr. Both the teams have done well in recent past. In this World Cup, Brazil came as contender to win the World Cup and they have done nothing wrong except the defeat against Cameroon. Croatia haven't lost in any game but there attacking players needs to be more precise. They have to score every time if they have a chance. Because if they didn't then this Brazil team will win this match easily.

If Brazil scores first then they will win without much pressure. If Croatia scores first, they will make it hard for Brazil to equalize. This match is going to be won by that team who score first. We are predicting Brazil to win this match with 1-0.

Quarter Final 2 : Netherlands vs Argentina

Winner : Argentina

Lionel Messi might be playing his last World Cup. He himself has predicted that Argentina is one of the teams who can lift the trophy this time. They have recovered well after the shock defeat against Saudi Arabia. One fault if we try to find in this Argentina side is that they struggle against those players who are physically tough. We saw this against Saudi Arabia.

Netherlands are dark horse of this World Cup. If they won it against Argentina then no one will be as much surprised as we were when Saudi Arabia beat Argentina. Memphis Depay finally scored in last match to open the account in this World Cup.

Again it will be Lionel Messi's creativity that will win it for Argentina with 2-1.

Quarter Final 3 : Morocco vs Portugal

Winner : Portugal

We never thought that Morocco will make it this far in the tournament. Their defense is one of the strongest in the tournament. They are the only team who have conceded only once in this edition of FIFA World Cup. The famous quote is “Attack wins you games, Defense wins you titles.”

Portugal, so far have played exceptional football but they will find it difficult against Morocco to score. If by Chance this game ends in draw then Portugal will have better chance to win because Spain penalties were very weak against Morocco. Christiano Ronaldo might start in this game and prove his critics wrong by inspiring Portugal to their first Semi Final ever.

Portugal will win this match 1-0.

Quarter Final 4 : England vs France

Winner : France

Defending Champions France lost to Tunisia in group stages. It shows that they struggled against the team which parked the bus against them. But England is not one of those teams who parks the bus. Kylian Mbappe is leading goal scorer in this World Cup with 5 goals. Olivier Giroud is also scoring goals in this World Cup and in last match he became the highest goal scorer for his country.

England have Harry Kane, Bukayo Saka, Phil Foden, Marcus Rashford who can score from any angle at any time. This game is going to be a thriller and France is slightly better in defense as compared to England. We are predicting this game to be World Cup classic and France winning it with 3-2 margin.
