FIFA World Cup 2022 has already seen so many upsets in single edition of any Football World Cup. In Group Stages, many big teams lost to some not so heavyweights teams. It shows that on any given day any team can beat any top team. We have seen Argentina lost to Saudi Arabia, Germany and Spain lost to Japan, Portugal going down against South Korea, Morocco defeated Belgium, France lost against Tunisia and Cameroon beat Brazil.

Most of teams we predicted qualified for last 16 of FIFA World Cup 2022. If we consider our first prediction into account then 11 teams made it to the Knockout Rounds. If we add Wild Card then success ratio will reach to 12 teams. Similarly we have shown below the number of teams who qualified for Last 16 of FIFA World Cup as per our predictions.

You can clearly see that even after Match Day 2, we were not able to achieve 100% record even after considering the Wild Card as third team who have best chance to qualify. It shows that this World Cup 2022 is so unpredictable so far.

Now we are going to predict who have best chance to qualify for Quarter Final in this edition of FIFA World Cup. Knockout Rounds are going to start from today and out of these 16 teams only 8 teams will go to Quarter Finals of FIFA World Cup and 8 teams will go home.

Pre Quarter Final 1 : Netherlands vs USA

Winner : Netherlands

Netherlands are dark horse of this World Cup and they will be favorites to win against USA. We are sure, that this match is going to be a cracker, as USA is not going to give up easily and this match can go into the penalties which will be the first penalty round of this World Cup.

Pre Quarter Final 2 : Argentina vs Australia

Winner : Argentina

Argentina are now comfortable as they are facing Australia who should not have any chance if we consider on-paper teams. But as we know that we have seen many upsets and Australia have the quality make one more, but Argentina has already lost to Saudi Arabia, so they will be more cautious against Australia and would want to stamp their authority on the match with first kick of the ball.

Pre Quarter Final 3 : France vs Poland

Winner : France

It's going to be Lewandowski vs France. France lost to Tunisia in group stage but most of their first choice players were on bench for most part of the match. Poland needs to feed Lewandowski with the ball as much as possible, as currently he is one of the best striker of modern football. France should win this game, not easily but surely.

Pre Quarter Final 4 : England vs Senegal

Winner : England

England are flying high on confidence and Senegal needs to be compact with their defense. England have quality attacking and mid-fielding players, but their defense is not as strong as it should have been. If Senegal strikes first and park their bus, then it is going to be difficult for England to create chances. Harry Kane would want to carry this team to the glory which would not be possible if he didn't score. England need their Talisman to score when team needs him the most.

Pre Quarter Final 5 : Japan vs Croatia

Winner : Croatia

Japan so far have beaten Germany, Spain and lost to Costa Rica. Croatia, won against Canada but drawn the match against Belgium and Morocco. These scenarios made me believe that this match is going to be goalless draw and Croatia will win in penalties. Both teams are compact in defense and creativity wise they can struggle against such defensive teams.

Pre Quarter Final 6 : Brazil vs South Korea

Winner : Brazil

Brazil lost to Cameroon in their final group game, but they will be favorites to win this match. South Korea somehow crossed the group stage hurdle but they are up against the team who are firm favorites to win this edition of the World Cup.

Pre Quarter Final 7 : Morocco vs Spain

Winner : Spain

Morocco is a good team and they have done exceedingly well so far in this tournament. Spain lost to Japan, which knocked Germany out of this World Cup. Most of the first team players didn't play that match and when those players will return it will be difficult for Morocco to contain this high quality Spain team. Spain lost that match still they passed the ball almost 5 times more than Japan, and if you pass the ball more and you have the creativity then you will create chances for sure.

Pre Quarter Final 8 : Portugal vs Switzerland

Winner : Portugal

Portugal and Ronaldo knows that Switzerland is not the team that they can beat easily. Switzerland teams grit has always been exceptional. Their defense gives 100% always. This match is going to be between Switzerland's defense and Portugal's offence. We see the result to be 1-0 in favor of Portugal.
