Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) side FC Goa produced a memorable performance on their AFC Champions League debut to earn a well-deserved point from their opening Group E (West Region) clash after a 0-0 draw against Al Rayyan SC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa on Wednesday.

The difference in quality between both teams was visible from the start but the FC Goa players gained confidence as the match goes on and showed the world that Indian Football and ISL have surely improved. 

Juan Ferrando organised the team defensively and despite some errors in the first 15 minutes, they were more than competitive and Al Rayyan SC had to work hard to find any ball in the final third. Here's how Twitter reacted after FC Goa's valiant effort.
