FC Goa played another draw at the Fatorda against UAE's Al-Wahda. Both teams created plenty of chances but were unable to find the back of the net.

First Half

FC Goa started the game aggressively. First 10-15 minutes were dominated by FC Goa completely. They created a lot of chances but the final touch was missing. Brandon Fernandes hit the post. Ortiz and other FC Goa players missed a couple of more chances to do well in the final third. 

After FC Goa's first surge, Al-Wahda started to dominate the game. They were pressing high and most of the remaining minutes of the first half were played in the FC Goa's half. Al-Wahda had more clear cut chances but FC Goa's defence and the impressive Goal Keeper Dheeraj Singh were always there to defend.

Second Half

Al-Wahda dominated this half as well. Their passing was accurate, long passes more often than not find the player they were directed towards. FC Goa also had couple of chances through couter attacks but the final pass was always missing. Crosses were there but not accurate. In the first match, FC Goa was looking to defend only. And the drawn first match confidence was visible in their performance today. They not only defended well in this match as well but also showed that they can also attack and surprise teams who are much stronger than them.

For us Dheeraj Singh was the man of the match. He stood tall whenever the opportunity arises. The save in the injury time to deny Al-Wahda three points was the moment of the match. Here is how twitter reacted.
