AFC Cup : Bengaluru FC beat Nepal Army to reach Play Offs

Bengaluru FC beat the Nepal Army FC by 5-0. Bengaluru FC qualified for the Play Offs. ATK Mohun Bagan is the other team who will represent India in the AFC Cup. They are in Group D. Bengaluru FC have to win one more match to qualify for the group stages.
First Half
Bengaluru FC started as favourites because they have done well in AFC Cup in the past. But Bengaluru FC was unable to find the back of the net. Both Cleiton Silva and Sunil Chetri missed couple of chances to break the deadlock.
Second Half
Bengaluru FC came for the second half and inside 20 minutes they made the game one sided affair. Rahul Bheke scored the opening goal for Bengaluru FC in the 51st minute. One minute later, Sunil Chetri doubled the lead. Their foreign signing Cleiton Silva scored 2 back to back goals in 61st and 63rd minutes respectively.
Rahul Bheke then put the icing on the cake by scoring his second and team's fifth in 65th minute. Bengaluru FC had another chance in 85th minute but the shot was just wide of the bottom right corner. The quality difference was visible during the match. Nepal Army did well to hold Bengaluru FC for 0-0 in first half, but in the second half they were all over the place and Bengaluru FC didn't miss many chances and made them pay.
